I have a Farmall 300 and it has one cylinder that will foul out with oil after about 4-5 hours of use. The tractor has a slight miss with a fresh plug but does not miss under a pull.Tractor does not smoke. What do you think?

First off make sure that you have solid core wires, install a new cap and rotor , Do a fine tune adjustment on the carb , adjust the valves , and check the timming and set as per spec. change your grade of gas , And do not use champion plugs. Use either Motor Craft Autolite or A/C's .

perhaps a bad, worn, or missing valve stem seal. that lets oil leak past the valve stem and get into the firing chamber and thus fouls the spark plug. do a compression test first on the entire engine.

Need to do a compression test. My first guess would be either stuck or broken rings on that cylinder.

Sounds like you have a bad cylinder(worn sleeve, worn/stuck oil control rings). Have you checked the compression? What about checking the spark?

Well shoot, George, every dog has it's day! Usually I'm a minute late and a penny short.
