MF 65 stuck in reverse

Hello,

I was pushing some logs back into a pile with my boxblade, and when I went to pull away my gear shift wouldn't move. The tractor will run in reverse gear only, and I can pull it forward even though it is stuck in reverse. Any help out there for a senile old coot?

Thanks much,

Tom

I just want to thank the person that responded to my post for help. It worked, and I reckon it saved me a lot of money and trouble.

Remove Oil fill cap next to gear shift and use long screwdriver or a lug wrench to slide reverse shifter flange forward to neutral position.
