I'm having quite a time, I added a over running clucth adapter, this required me to cut the drive shaft down a bit as it was too long, now when I raise teh mower the shaft drags the top of the deck, if I adjust teh top link enough to prevent this it won't let the back of the mower down enough to cut right when lowered??!! Help

You say that you have fitted an over-run clutch adapter to your tractor? Oh dear,is it something like a TO or TE Ferguson or a Ford 9N with no position control?

How high do you need to raise the deck? There should be a stop adjustment on the hydraulic touch control that you can set so that the shaft doesn't hit the deck when raised.
