I have a Massey Harris model 81 serial number
401719 with a Auto-Lite electrical system. I looking for a distributor cap ( model of the
distributor is GW-4139-4V ) Can anyone tell me
where I can buy one. Telephone 315-336-7600

Donald, Your Autolite dist. number should be IGW-4139-4V on a Continental engine..correct? A dealer for Borg Warner (BW) parts or Prestolite should be able to get the cap. If you can't find it local let me know. Anyway that dist. uses these parts:
Autolite/Prestolite IGB-1225 / 3-16 Cap or BW C22

Autolite/Prestolite IGB-1239 / 4-15 Rotor or BW D91B

Autolite/Prestolite 1-31 Points subs to 1-122
Autolite/Prestolite 2-35 condenser subs to 2-98

TO: Glen in TX. Thank you for the information. I now have the correct model distributor and part numbers. My only problem know is none of our local dealers in Rome, New York can seem to locate the cap for me. If you have any suggests I certainly would apprecaite the help. Thank You again. Try to find someone that has Borg Warner parts or can get Prestolite local. If not email is open and I might can locate one for you. Noticed in a late Borg Warner catalog it was still listed and sure a odd looking cap.

Any GOOD auto parts place should be able to match it up with the dist. number you have.
