Does anyone know where sherman step-up transmission parts might be located?

I have Shermans of many flavors. What parts are you looking for?

Hey Jim-

I just got a sherman step-up that I'm installing in an 48' 8N. I would like to get another one for another 8N. These will be working tractors. So, I'm in the market for another one if the price is right. I would like to get bearings and/or gears just in case? I don't know If the shermans need repairing or not. I'm not familiar with them yet. What do you have?

Anthony

I have (2) lever shift Step-ups, and (at least) (5) Combos. (1) combo is ready to go right now and (1) of the others was bought as a 'parts donor' to make several others ready for sale this winter. I have other types of Aux. trans but I'm holding back on some of them 'til I decide which direction I want to go with the tractors I'm going to keep.

Keep an eye on eBay. I see them come up quite often. Make sure the front end on that old Ford is good, because that step-up gets you up and down the road FAST! We have a 51 8N at the farm with a Sherman step-up...it's great for splitting gears, but no tractor should have to go that fast.
