JD 320 package deal

I have a shot at buying 2 tractors in one package. One is a JD 320, the other is an AC CA. There are implements with them such as a plow, disc, cultivators, etc. There is new rubber on one tractor and all of the sheet metal is straight.
They have all been sitting in the shed for maybe 20 years or so but the seller says that they still run. Here is the dilemma; I thought the price was $2700. Well now the price is suddenly $3900 for the same stuff. Seller says $2700 was for only one machine (don't know which).
My question is are these tractors still worth the "new" price? I had wanted to get them both running then sell one of them to pay for the whole deal. At the new price can I still do that?
I see in the archives that the JD 320 sells for crazy prices. Those are no doubt restored machines which is something that I can't do. I don't want to get rich on this I just want a tractor that runs without losing too much money.
We are planning to tell the seller to prove that they will run and drive if he wants the new price. Or if we have to get them going then it should be the old price. Does that sound OK to you guys?
Thanks in advance.

A 320S sold at auction here locally for $6400. It was original and had the owners manual and toplink. I think the 320U's are even more rare,(but I'm not for sure.) Also a restored 320U here in the fastline paper for $10000.

You may as well do like everyone else,Buy them up then resell them on ebay. That should be a real good price for that 320 alone just make sure it has a serial number tag.

I won't comment on the value other than to say that the value depends somewhat on condition. Some things to check are for water in the oil pan and tranny. If they have sat for a long time condensation will build up a pool of water under the oil. This is no biggie if you drain it out before starting the tractors. Check for clutch pads stuck to the flywheel and brake pads stuck to the drums. Check for rust around the valve stems of the tires.
