I have a nice 3020 tractor (see photo section - 1969 3020) and am considering selling it but not sure what the heck it is worth. I used to work in a auto-body shop and I put a very high-end paint job on it. I am looking to get a smaller tractor - like to find a 861 ford.

Thats one nice looking tractor. Having been an owner of a NAA (sim to 000 series) you will love to drive a ford 000 series around. Just a neat little trator that very usable. However it will not do a 1/3 the work of that 3020. Main issue is they are to light. You'll run out of traction before you run out of power. As for what it worth. That is something only you know. You know the condition and effort put into it. But there may be a difference between what it's worth and what you can get. I tend to price out equipment by what it's going for. This site is a good place to do that. Just search out the model and start compairing condition.
