Mornin' Guys,

Bringin' an old tractor back to life is a slow drawn out ordeal. But, day by day and one silly bolt at a time, this old heifer is starting to look more and more like a tractor.

Hey Allen,

Haven't posted in awhile...

Your " ole heifer" sure looks good! Wish my 2510 had half the looks your "junk" had!! : -)

Hope your Christmas was Merry and your New Year is beyond Happy!!!

For an old farm guy, you are alright! I appreciate all the help you have given me over the years...

My best to you and yours!

Dug

Hi Ol' Bud,

Yeah, I gotta get this one finished up and out of my hair 'cause I still have to dance thru a baler and swather before hay time. :>)

Oh well, it sure makes the winter go faster anyways. :>)

Hi Allen,

Sorry if I missed a post answering these questions...

Did you get you temp sensor fitted satisfactorily ?

What turned was the problem with your fuel guage ?

Seeing that console sure brings back memories of dad's 806.

It's great to see the old girl coming along.

Hi Red,

Yes Sir, got the capulary mounted and all is well in that department.

I didn't have a fuel gauge problem; just that darned temp sender. I nice feller over in Iowa sent me the correct adaptor for the sender.

Allan, I am curious as to how all that shiny, red stuff got on your ol' heifer! Are you mixing small amounts and spraying with a touchup gun? Or ,God forbid, using a spray can? Pretty near every update has at least one more piece turning red, and I want to know! Looks good, by the way. Kent in NB.

Hi Kent,

Only ones that will ever see this old tractor are myself and the Coyotes and I'm shootin' her in batches as I fix things 'cause I'm so darned impatient.

Wrong way to do it I know, but at least it will keep the rust off of 'er. :>)

All I have left is the front end (major work ahead), the hood and the heat sheilds and I'll do them as the last batch.

Allan, verrrry nice. When you get done and have nothing to do, I have a 1066 that sure needs some TLC.

Hi Harley,

They can't get it in 'til after the first of the year, so I'm just gonna continue on with other little pidley stuff in the meantime (like replacin' that other axle seal that I took so much heat over). :>)

I know what's gonna happen, I'll get 'er all painted and prettied up, and then it will be just my luck that it will have to be split. Groan! :>(

Looking pretty nice, I wouldn't mind having a hydro myself. I have been somewhat concerned about the cost of repairing one though. It will be interesting to see what needs to be done to yours. Thanks for the pictures and posts, have a happy and blessed New Year.
