Just funny this retraction (lower down on the forum) only arrived AFTER Gary pointed out your double standards. You, sir, should have retracted/apologised earlier. I, for one, find it difficult to consider your apologetic post as anything other than a weak excuse for your previous post, not a real reason.
If that was the case, I think you would, by now, have protected your handle with a password so this "brother" of yours could not do it again.

i am sorry i didnt apologize earlier but i have property to take care of and i dont know how to use a password. it is just a coincidence that my apology came right after iagary posted that message. and have any of had a family member mad they will do anything to you. and one last thing please read the bible for once it says to forgive and forget. i am sorry for the mistake so forgive and forget. jlmtractor

"Tis funny how you and your brother have exactly the same spelling. I don"t know of many siblings who have exactly the same style of writing.

I"ll forgive when I get the truth and nothing but the truth.

And, by the way, the handle password is very easy to figure out. I would recommend you try it.

Is this forum for garden tractors.
I thought there was a seperate forum for graden tractors.
I only respond this why because of your response below to the post about cars. Practice what you preach.
Normally I would have said nothing but I couldn't resist.

I like to make sure the tractor is going to run before I do anything else. So once the engine is running good, tranny, rear end, brakes, steering, paint.

Do as much research as you can. Find manuals and parts books too.

First off, start with your banker and make sure you can keep writing checks.....(only half joking).

I believe most folks start inside and work out: engine work as required, tranny, rearend. Wheel bearings and steering as needed, if needed. Search for replacement parts if need be, electrical, lights, accessories, gages. The cosmetics and paint come last. One exception might be to do some casting painting as you go, if you want full rust protection and if you want components painted before assy. Sheet metal and final painting come last.

However you do it, welcome to the club! It is rewarding to see and hear the fruits of your labors and know you saved one from the junk man! Good luck, and remember, there's a lot of smarts on this board. (I just don't happen to be one of them!)LOL
