I'm looking for a 2-wheeled trailer or pictures of one originally used to move a mounted picker (2M, 2MD). I'm told the dealerships originally had a 2-wheeled trailer pulled behind a pick-up to deliver the mounted pickers. Any info whould be appreciated. Even a description of what they looked like or how they worked. I'm told there was a hand-pump hydraulic ram. Even a vague discription would be helpfull.
Thanks

I've talked to a few guys that remember them. Nobody yet that has any pictures or can remember many details though. Maybe they were built by the dealerships or someone else around here. I've talked to guys that have seen them used for Farmall and John Deere. I'll have to build one if I don't find something.

Any other help would be appreciated

I've talked to several people who have seen them but nobody that can remember what they looked like, where they attached to the picker, what was used for lifting power, or if the axle was straight or if the wheels were set behind the axle to create more tounge weight. If you can't get the axle behind the stand, the center of balance would be behind the axle creating negative tounge weight.

I don't know of any dealers around here that had such a trailer. When you bought a new picker, you drove your tractor into town, the dealer would install the picker, and you drove the rig back home.
