I've got an old school bus parked on my place we use to store stuff in and also to hunt out of. Well I just looked at it today and some kids broke out 8-10 of the windows in it. Now this bus is in the area I only go to when its hunting season. I think I know who did it. What would you guys do about this. As it sits now its no good to store things in or even sit in to hunt out of with all those windows broke out.
Thanks
Guess I'm just sort of pissed about this happening

that is a shame how old is the kids you think done it..? is your land posted? you might call the parents and have them ask the kids if they have heard anything about it... could call law and see if they would ask some questions of neighbors.. might post land and right hidden camera's in use....

What the h**l you talkin' about!!! My kid would never do something like that!!
See what your up against?
My Dad would have beat me senseless at even the suggestion by a neighbor, even if I had been sitting at the supper table when it happened.

Since most bus windows are flat panels I say go with the plexiglas idea. Just wish I could have done that when kids broke every piece of glass and plastic..yes, windows, headlights, tailights, mirrors, you name it...out of a 79 Wagoneer I had bought to get a few parts quick for another Jeep I've got. Still it didn't need much to fix up and I had planns to do just that til the window incident. I made a few calls and just to replace the windows cost more than the old girl was worth.....so more robbed parts later it's definately not worth fixin now..... ..

i had a similiar problem with the neighbor kids. one of thier cousins came out to visit (he was a little hoodlum) and talked them in to busting out the windows on my 81 e350 van bucket truck, and an old kaiser frazier auto. i went to see the parents, talked to them about it. they offered to pay the damages. i had them send the kids over and clean up all they done. gave the kids buckets, gloves and saftey glasses and they cleaned the mess up. thier ma and dad also gave em a good whoopin.

If I was pretty sure about who the kids were that did it I think I would let their parents know. They might appreciate knowing.

I think the post about plexiglas is a good one. If you put glass back in they'll just break them out again

I was dragging out logs way back in the mountains with a 9N. This was off the road up and down valleys. Someone stole the steering wheel off the tractor. Long story short I drove it out pushing the steering rods with my feet. Lucky I didn't get killed.

Well Old, there is not a lot you can do unless you catch the little S*+##s. If it were mine...I would more that likely fasten some clear plexiglass with screws on it and let it go.
I did that with old chicken coop I had for the ducks to go in at night. It was way down near the pond away from the house. Been that way now for nearly 10 years.
Go have a rest and cool off. I know how you feel.
