Nice sunny day here in Calif, I am planning on doing a small discing job. Probably the last discing here for the year. Might have my JD engine back from the shop after having the mains line honed. I picked up a reground cam yesterday for the motor, seamed a little expensive 180.00, but the other cam was shot. The previous owner ran it with water leaking in the oil, and caused a lot of internal engine damage. have a good day Stan

Guess I'm late to the show... :(

'Nother day at the shop/office - I'm making drawing changes and part revisions to a subassembly on a commuter locomotive. Should be putting a wrap on this assembly here in a couple days...movin' on to the next project.

Snowing here, this one might stick, but 7 day forecast says above freezing all next week. Wet, wet, wet. All streams overfull, a bit of ponding, lots of beans and corn still out through the country. My rule of thumb was get done in the field by Oct. 11, too soaky after that, but lots of folks still at it. Get the quick hitch off the tractor and go get the snowblower. Anybody wanna a quick hitch? Useless for my situation.
Stay safe.

Well it looks like thanks to some wind yesterday field work may resume. Looked last night and it I think I will be able to put anhydrous on the corn stalks that have been chisel plowed. The bean stubble is going to need some sunshine and the forcast is for ten days of dry weather. Also have some chisel plowing to do yet so maybe we can get that finished up the next couple days. If not I will be in the shop trying to put a hoist under a barge wagon. bill

gonna do front brakes on a friends car, then move over to mounting a hyd. cylinder on a JD? cultivator. If time permits I may have to pull an Allan and work on some other equipment also ;)
Probably do the most important by taking a nap as I have worked all night and just can't seem to fall asleep. Must be too much excitement of the weekend plans.8)

Sure wish you had closed the door before sending the cold down here. 35 degrees down here right now and way to cold for this time of year in Louisiana. Getting a new roof put on my house. Gonna be cold out there today. God Bless. Bob Da. (La)

Oh yeah, I gotta run to the bank and then pick up a load of salt and mineral for the girls. Then I might hook up the trailer and haul straw. third party image

Ifn yuh got that check from me walk to the bank Howard and don't drop it. Might actually be wise to tie it to your wrist. No telling which way it will bounce.
