Well we got an old fashioned mini-blizzard(I guess I would call it) here in the far northwest. Started snowing Sat evening and kept up for 30 hours. Of course the natives here think this is big stuff and really serious, but I just put 10 I.H. suitcase weights in the bed of pickup and go back to driving Iowa style. Now if we could just keep the lowered imports off the roads we could actually get to where we need to go. We are in the snow removal business so I'm just taking the phone calls and passing on to the crews. May have to get one of the other Farmalls fired up after while too. Could be a little crazy in Seattle for Monday night football. Keep it right side up guys. Migraine

Make sure you have those weights secured. I had to help remove a person that was trapped by one sand bag hitting the back of the cab from a head on. Not pretty. Those weights turn into missiles or worse.

Amen to securing the ballast. My old Ford sitting behind the shop still has the 2 big eye bolts in the bed that I used for securing the cement blocks. I did not want those blocks coming through the back of the cab.

Thanks guys for the reminder. Went out and chained 'em all together. we are not really moving fast enough to cause concern now with all the drifts but might be out and about later on and would have forgot that.Thought I moved away from this winter scene but guess it followed me here. migraine
