Howdy folks,

Well, actually it"s my first customer. Finally sent the "47 JD M home with it"s proud owner yesterday. It"s been sitting at my house for almost 3 years now after being completely restored from front to back. It hadn"t ran in almost 30 years, had to have the head replaced, new set of rear rims, and a bunch of sheet metal work since it spent the last 3 decades in a tobacco barn being used as a ladder and a target for tier poles. It was a good but kind of sad day. You get attached to a tractor after you put so much into it. But it sure was a joy to do and I"ll never forget how that thing looked when I first saw it in their tobacco barn and made the suggestion, "Why don"t you guys fix that poor thing up?" Who knew that I"d be the one to do it for them. Now, word of mouth has gotten round and I have a C farmall in the shop with a Farmall M coming behind it and possibly a 1466 after that. I tell ya what, if I can figure a way to start a hay farm that will work I would be tempted to just quit my job at CaseIH and do those two things for the rest of my days. It is a blessing for sure. God bless.

Congradulations but, now you've got a problem. You've been bitten by the bug and now you've got the disease. Good news is, it's a good disease. Good luck with your future interest in restoring tractors.
