Not too long ago I sold a nice Deere backhoe attachment to a fellow in Oregon. I'm in Calif. Anyway, he lined up hauling thru your "Hauling Schedule". I buy and sell equip. and freight (then advertising) is my largest expense. It sure worked well. Another good place to find a carrier (or if you are a carrier to announce your business) is frugalfreight.com . It is free to all. When looking for a carrier, you all may want to post your info in both spots for addit exposure

I did the buy and sell for twenty years and when i needed something hauled i either hauled it myself or it would go on one of my buddys loads . A buddy and i hit all the sales that we could find in 4 states and 99% of the time he and i were together and the 1% of the time that we were not i was at one sale and he was at another and both of us spending the others money , that was the fun part spending someone else's money.

It sounds like fun. It is increasingly more difficult to find a bargain at a sale anymore. Just in the last 10 years it has changed drastically. It is still fun though. I sure am tired at the end of the day. Now, you need a class A/B license to pull a trailer over 10000lbs.
What are the RV'ers doing now with their big rigs?
Hopefully, sites like this and www.frugalfreight.com will lighten the load up a bit. Dean

Off the subject, but the RV part on license. These People don't have to do or have ANY form of license diff.than a car driver. You can take a Class 8 Kenworth and put living quarters on it and License it as a RV and tow any kind of trailer or whatever you want with no problem,(NO SCALES, Taxes or anything).Scary at times when you see some of these old febble rich people in their Diesel Pushers pulling a Dingy passing you running 70++MPH.
