My darn case doesn"t want to run on all 4 cylinders.I have rechecked the valves put in new plugs new wires and another magneto and still the same when it runs # 1 and #3 have a nice long spark but there is no sound that they work but when #2 or #4 are disconnected they almost stall the engine. All 4 have around the 100 psi there are vacuum plugs on the air intake and there is no backfire but nice suction What could it be?

Was it running okay before? Before maybe pulling the mag dist. rotor out? Maybe rotor timing is not right. Case mag flange mount mag? Make sure the rotor face is clean of carbon and that the dot on gear or cam lines up with the beveled teeth on fibre gear of rotor. The beveled teeth should be on the side facing the rotor disc also. Otherwise the gear is on backwards and timing is off more.

I was asked to help with a similar problem. Maybe the wires got mixed up, if 2&4 are making power, let them alone. Try trading wires on 1&3, and see if it smooths out.

You may have an air leak at the #1 & #3 intake manifold ports interfering with proper fuel mix.
