I live 25 miles north of Phoenix and it was 19 this am. I know that's nothing to most of you folks but 8days ago it was 79.

It was 20 degrees at 7:30 AM in my feed room. Got one busted waterer PVC pipe but looks like the citrus came through ok.

Here in Kingman it was hovering at 11 ALL nite friday and didn't warm up with the sun saturday. Then last nite it was 8-9* ALL nite and at 9:30 was still 10. There is going to be a lot of dead palm trees and Oleander this spring. This morning the volunteer dill and cheat grass is flat and black.

This will put the roses dormant which is good. I haven't got to cut them back severely for about 8 years. Which, (chuckle) is about the time people started planting palm trees.

Ice & sleet here and 16º the other night and all the way to 23º today. Heat wave compared to those up north and without power still. Power's flickering too? uh oh. Just remember it's one day closer to 120º F.

It was not much better over here at Wickenburg. Don't like it at all but Mother Nature is kind to us most of the time so I guess we can't complain to loudly. What gets me is I hear those Motorcycle's roaring down US 60. Must be a very Cold ride.
