Up here in SW Ontario we have around 4 feet of snow and building up slowly. On Sun, Mon, and Tues it was like a blizzard. On monday most of the town was closed down. Getting real hard to get around the yard.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone. We're just about 30 minutes south of all that trouble. The problem now is that there's no place to put the snow. Anyone with a bucket was of real value earlier in this week, but now the piles are so tall that only a real big bucket loader is enough. This lake effect snow is different too. It falls in big fat flakes and looks real light and pretty until you roll it down with a tire. Then, it's just like vaseline on wet glass!

Head on up to Oswego County in NY. They might let you in if you have a plow on your truck. They have 7 feet of snow and more pouring down as we speak.

Careful what ya wish for.....
I know what you mean though. We have all sorts of snow removal equipment all dressed up with no where to go. Here in central MN, we have gotten maybe 6 inches of snow total all year, seems everything is going just south of us. We finally got about 4 inches earlier this week, so at least it looks kinda normal outside. It was wierd to go outside in dec/jan and see open fields and no snow in the yard. Never thought I`d be complaining about the lack of snow....

If I could afford to do it, I'd load my tractor and loader on my trailer and head to the northeast. On the other hand, I don't think my 'ol H would be much of a match to that 10 ft. deep snow.
