At least you will have 9 months to get ready for him/her to arrive. Just two weeks ago we were given nine hours to get ready to begin raising our grandson. Don't get me wrong I love him with all my heart, but at 52 it is a big adjustment to start caring for a baby. He is helpless and I can adjust. He will grow up to know that real tractors are painted green. LOL. I know God has a plan and I am trusting totally in him for the wisdom and knowledge to raise him right.

Pray to God the kid is healthy and OK and has an easy birth, for the kid, as well as Mom!

The boy or girl thing will work out.

We had 4 boys. One suffered a severe injury from a difficult birth, and died just before his 18TH birthday, after constant care all those years.

The next boy had a 1-in-10,000 congenital heart defect, resulting in several heart surgeries, and a lifetime of monitoring and the possibility of a heart transplant in the future.

Sure makes worrying if it is a boy or girl TRIVIAL!

The last 2 boys are healthy and normal (more or less). Incidently, each time the ultrasound folks and the Doc wanted to tell us the baby's s e x before birth, and we declined, letting it be a surprise!

Sorry for being so blunt, but MAKING, HAVING, and RAISING kids is NOT the trivial matter some folks make it out to be, and it doesn't ALWAYS turn out the way you want!

Furthermore, if it's a girl, think how much fun you will have in 15 or so years tormenting potential suitors that "come calling"!

I second that. We have a 6 month old girl here and you can be sure she will be right beside me on everything. Girls look better doing this stuff anyways, trust me! Anyone ever been to New Energy in South Bend, IN and seen Brooke, she drives a semi for the Totzke Farms which is her familys. Don't tell my wife but she is HOT! And even more so given the fact of what she does.

COOL!!!! How is Momma feeling? Let us know how things go tomorrow. The most important thing is a healthy baby. Sister wants Santa (yeah, all ready talking about that) to bring her a Pink Peterbuilt with a "tractor" trailer. Brudder allows that when he grows up, he will buy her one, but his is going to be red.
