we used to have a farm broadcaster on the local AM station that said he didn't know why God even put skin on farmers knuckles.

Be careful! Push that wrench with an OPEN hand, don't put you're whole fist around it.

OK,
Quit working so darn hard and work smart!!
Think ahead-IF and only IF the wrench slips off,is it gonna make you leak red stuff??

It takes a few stitches to remember to look what"s on the other side of the rusty or frozen bolts.
Good luck on the Ollie!! Take care ~brad

Busted knuckles are always fun remember why you wanted that tractor when you dothat and are cussing because it just wont work right

It dont matter how long you do it there will always be something new come up and make you feel like a rookie again that is what keeps it interesting.

Clint

Yeah, I had a old red dude horse go over backwards with me today and all I could think of was: 'Man, I hope your knuckle is OK!'. :-) Allan was right: 'Darned sky is kinda pretty this time of year tho.'.

All he's getting on a regular basis is grass hay. I think he just wanted to see if I was awake or not.

The red badge of cougage is omni present. I just crawled out from under a Subaru Outback (I put in a Ceramic puck clutch "Sachs" and several spots are with ointment from tin and tight twisting. Welcome to the bandaid kingdome. The cloth type with finger tip and knuckle style are popular with me. JimN

An old mare let me have it with both barrels today and tried her damnedest to kick a lung out of me.

All I could think of was how I was going to get my next breath of air. Darned sky is kinda pretty this time of year tho. :>(

Yep, I do. Right under my heart and across the front of my rib cage.

Ol' rip drew blood too. All I could think about while I was lying there trying to get some wind was, "How many darned times does this make now in my lifetime?"

It's fer sure gonna be a 4-ibprophen night, I know that. Did I ever tell ya that I really hate horses? :>)

My wife's horse steped on the side of my foot. Wouldn't have been so bad had he not been a very spoiled, overweight Belgian!!!!! Bad Skipper!!
(say bad words!, repeat bad words! Lord I apoligize for saying those bad words, and be with those starving pygmies down their in New Guinea!!)

If you can't get that fever cured you will have a lot of busted knuckles. Good Luck with the Oliver.

Don't feel bad. Last week I pulled the hyd. pump out of a western star. Darn oily thing slipped out of my left hand, and landed on my right hand. Four stitches in my right ring finger and a prescription for Vicodin. Also, I was supposed to keep it clean and dry. Oh well, I tried,,, until I had to put the pump back in.

Preacher I cut nearly a whole digit off my left pinky finger putting cultivators on my old C. That was 13 years ago and it still smarts a little.

now there's a good example of what it takes to become a pro and leave rookiedom behind rookie. gotta get ya some stitches, ignore the doctors instructions for the sake of the tractor....and just grit out the pain and send those vicodin to me at p.o. box#.....

Sorry, all the happy-pills are gone now. They only gave me a week's supply, with no refills.
