Hey out there!! I am really learning so much from all of the years of knowledge out there on yall's forums. I just purchsed a Dearborn 19-8 FEL for my 1952 8n and am confused as I am missing the pumpshaft, couplings, and pulley I believe I need to operate. I had my NH dealer print off a copy of all parts, but I'm still a little lost. Were there different pulleys used on the same loader? I've seen posts of ones like NH told me that bolts to the flange on the shaft and apparently some use the hand crank slot?? Please help. Anyone have the setup for sale??

dose your pully look like it is machined out a pice of steel if it is there shuld be 4 holes taped to bolt the drive plate inthere or a diffrent modle pully that has 4 larger holes that rubber bushings go into and the drive plate has pins that go into them. the original pully was pressed steel to change the pully you hane to remove the front axel suport. be careful

Thanks for your help, Old!! I figured I was going to have to remove the kingpin and the plate around the pulley that bolts to the engine front. it seems as though there might be a 3-4 inch sleeve attached to the pulley now or I could get it off without front end disassembly. I'm guessing it is pressed on or keyed. Where is the best place to support the front end for axle removal?? Obviously not the oil pan, do I go further back under the engine where the pan stops?
thanks in advance for all your help!

I have the flange end on the pump still, but nothing from there to the crank pulley. My grandpa says from what it sounds like someone already had a loader or something on my 8n because it has a slotted bolt in the crank end for pulley removal as well as the plate with kingpin for front axle. Do you have to remove this kingpin and front axle to remove the pulley?? My pulley has no holes in it, it"s hard to believe someone would take the pumpshaft pulley off and leave the slotted bolt and kingpin plate, especially if they would have had to remove this kingpin to change out the pulleys??

You need a special crank shaft pulley that has tapped holes in it for a plate that the drive shaft goes into.
