I purchased 2 71 flex planter units at auction. I attatched them to a tool bar and now I need to purchase corn plates for them. I have an operators manual for the planters issue G9.
The manual has corn plates listed with the letter "H" before the number. When I look on e-bay they have lustran plates listed for the 71 flex, however the numbers that they use does not correspond with the numbers in the manual. Is there a cross reference availble for these plates ?

The book is listing plate numbers for the old metal plates, probably numbers like H1255B or H694 while the plastic plates from Lincoln are B1's, B2's etc. Unless you already have the metal plates just forget about what the book says. When you buy your seed, there will be a plate recomendation on the bag. That will be a Lincoln number, then just order the plates you need.

LINCOLN AG sells Lustran plates. They used to have a conversion chart on their website.
