but need your prayers again :(

Last night I lost my brother Rick; he was only 41. He was on his way to pick up his kids from first marriage then visit my Mom in the hospital (recovering from cancer surgery). Understandably the family is really tore up now and I'm making travel plans for N. Idaho. We just don't realize how precious life is until something like this happens.

Detective said it looks like he just passed away while driving down Seltice Way - drove off the road, up a small hill and his truck settled into a field.

Humbly,
ShepFL

PS - Camping pic is my BIL (left - Scott), baby brother (center - Jake) and (Rick - right)

My sympathy. That is a terrible shock and loss. A reminder to us all to have our affairs in order, we will never know the time of our departure.

We pray that you'll be comforted at this time of sorrow. Things often happen that are God's will, but we mortals don't understand. We just have to accept that everything is part of a much bigger plan, and pray for guidance along the way.

God bless you, and may He grant you and the family peace.

Carry forward into life the lessons you worked out together, and allow to rest only the things that did not. It is all the responsibility we can share with our departed. JimN

Shep:
You have friends who meet you at the well. That's what the well and friends are for.
Strikes me as significant that folks who are close to the soil are up front about believing in the well, the power that put it there and there are others who share that belief.
God bless, comfort and strengthen you and loved ones. We have all been at the well sometime or other.

My doctors tell that that could happen to me at anytime because of my heart having a bad happit of going in fast idle 200 BPM and not pumping blood. So i limit my driving to only tractors and close around the farm. Good thing I married an older woman so i can have someone to take care of me.
Very sorry about your loss I may be taking that long trip someday myself so i know just how you will feel. Walt I will tell the wife to pray for you she's a lot better at it than me.

Sorry about your loss Shep.

And for Walt,

I had tatrachardia (sp?) or what you described as overspeed of the heart due to having a what my Doctor described as a "short" or a second trigger. Mine didn't go quite as fast as yours , but enough to cause discomfort and in effect the potential for clots due to the inability to pump the blood. I don't know how old you are, but I was able to take "propaphonene", a drug that regulated things to prevent that from happening. I eventually had surgery as the drugs you can take for this problem eventually have or can cause issues of their own. For a permanent fix they go in a do an oblation of the bad spot causing the problems. Surgery is similiar to getting stents, except in this case they just run wires in do the work and take everything out. It was an overnight stay. Maybe an option for you. (I'm 40 myself)
