Reseeded about a 4 acre hay patch last week . I used My 706 with the 310 ger. in it . I plowed it , disked and draged it 3 times then another time to mix the fert. in then used it to pull the grain drill plus a bit of runnin around back and forth and still have half a tank of fuel . I knew it was pretty good on fuel but never paid much mind of how much I was using as my gauge dont work , big fields I just fillup in the mornings . I think that was real good at 3 bucks a gal.

All depends on the size of the fuel tank and how accurate the gauge is.

I like it alot IH did a good job putting the 706 together . I had a gasser back in the late 70s and got rid of it cause it was so thirsty but I wish I had it back to feed with in the winter . That 310 sips the fuel and I`d put it up to any 70-80 hp tractor . I run alot of hills and it`s never bucked .
