Hi Gang;
In this part of the country where the farms are only a couple of hundred acres or so, they only need a small sized sprayer to cover the small acreage of grain grown and for spraying pastures to kill off Docks & weeds. This one comes from Europe, 100 gallon tank and 18 feet wide booms.
Cheers David

Dock in Britain are tall-ish plants that have narrow leaves and generally occur in pasture and /or wetter areas. The burdock is a separate plant. I"ve seen them in Canada, but only in river meadows and the like. The only thing they are good for really is if you sting yourself on a nettle, rubbing the dock leaves on the affected area help relieve the itch... allegedly...

Is that a 135 with a cab or 4 posts rops at the end of the tractor row? Looks pretty nice from what I can see. Dave

Hi David,
Looks like the size sprayer I need, not everyone over here farms 1000s of acres. I have a homemeade one that is about that size. What do you use over there to kill Docks?
Phil

I wonder if they are one in the same as Burdock, the pesky plant with the giant elephant ear like leaves, and those velcro like balls when they mature that stick to anything cloth, ones hair, etc. The seeds are in the middle of those round clingy buds that flower, then dry out. We used to have them all over, a patch of those would slow down the '64 4000 Ford with a 5 foot rotary cutter on it. Same plant, I have also heard of recent interest in the root, basically one long tap root, when left until the following spring, the entire plant will pop right out, but don't shake it, bump or knock it around, the seeds fall right out very easily, I usually take all the previous years ones I find, carefully pile and burn, though they are not prevalent here like they were, they sure can grow fast, leaf also looks like Rhubarb, not sure if we are talking about the same thing, only thing that comes to mind
