Mr Tractor's in Oregon and I'm in Calif. I want to build a trailer to haul my fully restored 39' Ford 9N tractor but don't know the exact curb weight. Does anyone have that number? I would really appreciate the information.

thanks

paul

Will take a 14' tandem trailer . I would recommend brakes on all 4 wheels . If you plan to haul with attachments will take 16' trailer, would get a 7000 GVW trailer. Tractor weights about 2350 lbs without tires loaded .

A 9N is small enough that can be hauled in the back of a pick-up truck. Tight fit but I have seen more then one sitting in the bed of a truck before. 3/4 ton of course. You will still want a tandem axle trailor with at least one axle with brakes.

My '46 2N scales at 3300# with no operator, loaded tires(12.4x28), front bumper, equipped with Sherman step-up tranny.

They are about 2300 lbs. I pull mine in the 2500 lb class and when I weigh it with me on it the thing weighs around 2475. I am about 185 lbs.

Can't find the exact number in my operator or service manuals but it is in the neighborhood of 2,500 pounds without loaded tires.
