Part out or not?

Bought a Case Vac in real bad shape as a winter project. I have brought back to life a couple tractors, but they always had decent engines in them. This one has a JB weld repaired head AND block. Any advice on where to start on this? I have never done major engine work before. Any input would be helpful, or should I just part it out?

I would say it depends on what the rest of it is like ? you can always put it on hold and search for an engine or another bad VAC and take the 2 and make 1 and sell the rest.

Alot of times I'd say sell it all together as is for a profit if you can ? because if you tear it down for parts you are going to have alot of stuff left over.

Parts. I wouldn't have anything with cracks in it.
