Hi! I would like to kown how to remove starter from tractor Isee no boltes holding it on?

The bolts that hold the start on are also the same ones that bolt it togeather. Best way to remove it is to get a couple 5/16 nuts and then take the 2 bolts loose and pull the starter back just enough to put the nuts on. You have to be careful or the starter will come apart on you and if that happens they can be fun to put back togeather. BTDT many times and if done right its easy if done wrong it can be a real pain

The 2 long screws that hold the starter together. Undo them carefully, holding the parts together.

I had an 8N once. I had the starter rebuilt and I don't remember taking the starter apart. Look behind the starter for a bolt in the least convenient position.

Some AC use a set screw at right angles to the starter in the side of the hole in the block.

While having brushes fitted, also put in new bushings and be sure the wires from the battery are fat, say 1/0 or larger. It will start good then. Mine did.

I believe that you have to take the starter itself appart.
do a search for 8-N starter removal.
I guarentee you'll find the answer to your question.
