Hello!I need to get away from the flood damage for a day! Are there any good tractor/threshing/plowing shows this weekend in SEMN or NEIA? Thanks!
Merlin

Heritage Steam Harvest Show at Forest City. South of town. Look out for delegates to the Iowa Fireman's Association.

NEIFAA About 2two miles East of Garber Iowa. Drop down (South) on HWY 52 South of Garnavillo Iowa. Approx seven miles you will see a rock church on your left in the middle of nowhere. Turn right at the church onto x47. Go approx four miles and you will hit a brand new blacktop (C7X). This is called the Guttenberg / Garber HWY. Make a right turn and you drop into a big valley, cross a bridge then to the top of the hill. (I would guess five miles)

Friday Sat. & Sunday. Many times called the Plagman Barn.

I would guess a little over a half hour from Prarie Du Chine Wisconson. There maybe a short detour at the intersection of 18 and 52. It was supposed to open today, but nothing is etched in stone.

Ask for Dave Bacon, usualy near the rock crusher and say hello. No suit and tie required.

It's a smaller show, but usualy a favorite. We call it the Garber farm progress show.
