I recently acquired a large chipper. It is made by the Olathe Mfg co.,which is now out of business. The chipper is powered by a Ford 330 V8. Any ideas where I can find any manuals? Thanks Stan

Olathe was purchased by Toro in the early to mid nineties. They were good chippers. They also made sweepers for golf courses that used rubber fingers that would pick up branches and other debris besides grass. The company was in Olathe, Kansas I think, hence the name. It was started by one of the Rogers who originally made their own line of equipment including inventing the rubber finger sweeper. They were sold through Jacobsen who eventually bought them out. Olathe came along several years later. Their sweeper had enough changes to not conflict with the patents. Olathe machines were built kind of crudely but were built strong and worked very well for what they were designed for. I would contact a commercial Toro dealer. They should be able to help you. Hope this helps. Dave
