UPS was exspensive and local stores only do us shipments. Postal was slow and a different set of rules each time. throw in pay pal and there are strick terms disputes etc. Help!!

I've bought things on Ebay and got them shipped fro the states. It's really not that expensive, remember the dollar is becoming what the zloty used to be to us.third party image I always think it's boring when I see an interesting item clicks it and read US only or such, but hey, If you don't want my money I'll keep it. Our customs are no problem there are som rules of course but they wouldn't get the thumb out of their arses (excuse the french) if you don't try to ship Alcohol, weapons or drugs(both medical and colombian).

Parcel post is gone. Now you use Priority Mail International which takes the place of the old air mail. Print your labels online and get a small discount. It will even walk you through filling out the proper forms. Not hard at all but it does get pricey for heavy items and the size limits are more stringant.

I have quit shipping larger stuff overseas. Had to many problems. Still do paper goods, you can use a global priority and set the fees up front. (I haven't done anything since the new rates so I will have to study up after harvest before starting in again)

My advice is to not offer shipping overseas and if CANADA is to difficult don't offer there also.

I've shipped a lot to Canada, but almost always small items, and I only use US Mail. 1st class international is relatively cheap, but can't be insured. Other than slow delivery (at times), I haven't had much trouble. If the buyer is willing to pay the shipping cost, I'll ship almost anywhere.

I buy frequently on Ebay from the states, in july I bougth a chain saw and it was ship to Germany and then ship back to Canada, and the address clearly stated Canada, the post most ship a lot to Germany.
Last month I bougth a set of draft harness and two bridle the price was 200$ and the postage 207$ but I think that it was still a great deal. But sometimes the postage is just to high. Like a draft horse collar at 80$ and the postage fee would be 85$. And Ups dont event thing about it, the fee is just two high one's it cross the border

I say specifically only us and Canadian shipping. I have shipped internationally in the past but simply do not do it anymore because it is not worth the trouble. Also I cannot guarantee that the package wont get "lost". However I will start having different rates to ship to Canada now, because they only do air mail(through usps).

Just say no!

I live in Canada. I have never done any shipping but have bought a lot of stuff off of ebay. Shipping to Canada has always been more from whoever I have bought from. Always seemed fair to me that I paid the auctual shipping charges.

Just recently I sent a package to Canada using USPS priority International. It does work, but it is pricey, and the hassle wasn't worth the end results.

Shipping to Canada is of course slower and more expensive. With only six weeks of summer/black flies. The rest of the Canadain shipping season is by snowmobile or dog sled. Ever price out what a team of 12 hard working dogs eat in a year?

I'll have you know that this year we had 8 weeks of black flies - global warming and all.
