Bagged a decent 6 pointer 10:30 am, sat. Passed on 3 does and 5 fawns. Should have shot the bigger doe. Had a slug from some one else miss me by a couple feet, hit a branch in my tree. Talk about a sh!tty feeling. Saw 24 turkeys, bout 50 grouse, 3 other hunters. My sympathy to the families that lost family to hunting accidents this weekend.

About 30 miles north of Duluth, mn. I rolled over a large doe at about 200 yards. This was at a small gravel pit Sunday evening.

There was a rare albino buck shot in Minnesota by woman hunter. Check out the news video of it.

My wife bagged her ninth with her 2000 Honda Civic last night about 8:00. Can't get her to gut them and bring 'em home though.

I myself didn't get one, didn't see one worth shooting, but we were 2 for 6 in our party. Large doe and a 7pt. buck. Lots of small does and fawns were let go.

Dave were you hunting on your land or did you travel?

Was the slug from someone in your party?

I was on my brothers property, on the north center line of the 80 acre swamp. Slugs came from the property to the east. I am 80% certain I know which stand they were and who it is. They are on the property line of theirs and the land adjacent to my brothers swamp. Their stand is about 15 feet high and are an elevated knoll, the stand I had crawled in is down in quite a lower elevation. I see he has cut shooting lanes on the property adjacent to ours( with permision?I do not know). They are not in our party but I do know them well, we hunt waterfowl on their pond. I just need to let him know that 1/4 mile past his shooting lane is this stand. He had to really been trying some far shots or else there was some ricocheting off the ground or fallen tree.
