super c wont start

i just got it unstuck put new rings in & did valve job, carb kit,new points cond. ect.. bla bla bla i got fuel & spark but wont even pop mabe wrong coil ? i am useing a 6volt batt. could maybe someone switched over yrs to a 12 coil ? or what am i misssing ? i tryd the kicking tires test (didnt help) also tryd the throwing wrenches on floor lol no that didnt help either now its up to U

Pull one of the sparkplugs and pour about 2 tablespoons of gas on top of the piston. Replace the plug and try to start the engine & see if you get at least a pop. Hal

Hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor and see if you have good suction on your hand. I would run a compression test on all cylinders and see what those readings are. Good compression and intake manifold vacuum are all related. Your plug wires should be in this firing order on the distributor cap.

You may need to pull No1 sparkplug near the radiator and bring that piston to TDC on the compression stroke. Then remove the distributor cap and see where the rotor is pointing. It should be a the No1 plug tower. Hal

Cam or distubutor timing. Or fireing order out. Valves not set correctly. Any one of those or a combo of them will cuase you a no start

timeing cant be off as i never pulled dist or anything else other than head to get pistons out.. color of spark ? ill have to get back to ya tomorrow on that not going back out again tonight

My first reply bluestreaked itself out into cyberspace. Bright bluish white spark is what you're looking for. Orange is no good. Bad condensor is as good a guess as any. Buy Blue Steak parts. Made in the US. Stay away from cheapass asian made parts.
