Um i ran a compression check on it just to make sure i didnt screw up maybe on the valves.... i have 80 on 1 & 2 cyl & 60-65 on 3 & 4 off some but that should still be good enough plugs smell like gas on them when i pulled them so its getting fuel... It seems to have a good spark i put a 12 volt battery in to add more crank power, &^ No the timeing cant be off as i didnt pull dist. & it ran fine according to prev. owner befor he left it sit to lock up... so what else might i be missing here ? Again new plugs, wires, points, rotor, didnt replace cap dont need one... did the kick test & the throwing of wrench fit test & nothing helps lol

What all have you done to it to try to get it to run?? Sounds like you did something to unlock it but what?? Also sounds like you either have stuck rings or a problem with the valves. Carb may need to be rebuilt if you have good spark to all cylinders

Hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor
to see if you have good suction on your hand. If that is good I would remove No1 sparkplug and bring that piston to TDC on the compression stroke. Hold you thumb over the plug hole and have someone to hand crank until you feel compression, then drop a large handle screwdriver on top of the piston and watch the screwdriver slowly rise until it stops. Then remove the distributor cap and see where the rotor is pointing. Hal

I would first put in (new) gasoline as it will fire where old gas will not.Drain tank and carburetor if possible.100% NEW gas. CENTAUR

My son bought a SC that "sort-of" ran, turned out to be many more things wrong but the main thing was the gear on the distributor shaft splines were so rusted that they would jump out of time about every 3rd revolution of the distributor.
Locate Top Dead Center for #1 cylinder and remove the distributor cap to see where the rotor points. (the rotor should point to either #1 or #4 terminal depending on which stroke #1 piston just completed)
