My class says the Pledge of Allegiance every morning with our hands over our hearts facing the flag of our fine country.

There are a couple who don't say the words due to religious reasons, but they still stand and face the flag.

If they don't want to have a Merry Christmas, let them go the he!! back where they came from. They can live in our communities and have a spot in the work place. They can recieve bennifits and pay taxes like the rest of us,but they can not force us to have a happy f!@#ing holliday.Merry Christmas!!!Why can't we say HO HO HO,for frig sakes they still sell a screw in the hardware store, you can still buy coke in the stores.I can bet with 100% certainty, that back where ever they come from, they don't bend a God D@mn inch not to offend any Christains during Easter,Lent,Christmas and so on.It's all the friging polititions wanting to capitalize on all the votes, and the department stores wanting to be a worshiper of all faiths to get the most customers. They are pi$$ing 80% of us off to kiss the @rs of the other 20.Grrrrr rrrrr rr.

This is not my writing, but I will share it:

Twas the night Jesus came and all through the house,
Not a person was praying, not one in the house.
The Bible was left on the shelf without care,
For no one thought Jesus would really come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not once ever kneeling or bowing their head.
And mom in the rocker with baby on her lap,
Was watching the Late Show as I took a nap.
When out of the east there rose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
The light of His face made me cover my head,
It was Jesus returning just like He'd said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.
In the Book of Life that He held in His hand,
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name,
When He said, "It's not here," I hung my head in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love,
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready, He rose without a sound,
While all the others were left standing around.
I fell to my knees, but it was too late,
I'd waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight,
Oh, if only I'd known that this was the night!
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,
The coming of Jesus is now drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call,
We'll find that the Bible was true after all.

Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Sorry WALT you use a HOE to weed in the garden however it is possible to hire a HO to weed the garden. Listening to the news a few minutes ago don't know where it was they were talking to a athiest. He was happy that the police chaplains where he was now have to take the crosses off their uniforms. When and where is this crap going to stop?
86% believe in the Lord 14% don't and the 14% are getting their way they are doing the most yelling. Doesn't make sense to me. Well while I still can I want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. Yes even the athiests.

Hard to believe our ancestors mostly all came here to escape some type of (usually religious) persecution.

Can you even say Merry Christmas anymore?????

I thought the non-offensive politically correct thing to say was Happy Holidays.

And for anyone that may be offended my Merry Christmas; all I can say is.....
Remember the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Today happened to start the day out doing a phone repair in an elementary school, and was in the office doing my thing. Some teacher brings some youngster into the office and turns him over to the women asking him all kinds of questions, and asked if he knew the Pledge of Allegiance, and I was hearing but not paying so much attention, doing my thing. Next thing you know, I hear the women saying the Pledge, so I look up and see one holding the paging microphone up for the youngster saying the pledge overhead throughout the school. I promptly stood up, placed my hand over my heart and joined in. And...they said "...one nation under God...". That was very refreshing. Wow, that must've been something for that youngster to be chosen to do that. A proud moment for me too.

I assure you that you can. And if anyone points out that they're offended by it, tell them to start hanging out with new friends that know better.

Merry Christmas time.
