All that's happen because CEO's going to lose their shirts if they don't get all that equipment paid for they sent down there. A while back read a bunch of new Case IH combines there weren't paid for. South American still doesn't have infrastructure to move a bumper crop like here but will catch up and run over us the way our government is doing spending on war for oil instead of keeping money here to build a country!

Read some back that US Farmers can not expaned in the home areas so they have went as you have said south and are doing very well. Setting on dry dirt this growing season no rain, will help US beans.

I have a friend that went together with a couple
of other guys and bought 3,000 acres in Boliva to grow soybeans on so far so good.Good used equipment is extremely hard to come by and expensive there so they send a container down packed with equipment and sell about half of it each time.

It's not surprising at all,for every 100 acres of farmland the US loses to strip malls, parking lots and houses,Brazil opens 1000 acres. The government is Ag friendly, unlike the US where you are bogged down in paperwork and regulations.Land is inexpensive, equipment is reasonable, labor is inexpensive and plentiful.Crop yields are comparable to the average US yields and their crop prices are based on Chicago Commodity prices. It's common to be able to pay off 5000 acres of ground in 3-4 years.

Argentina does just as good with farming as Brazil. Combined, they produce more than us.
