You guy stop sending me you cold wet weather. Right now its raining, sleeting and snow all at the same time. If it keeps this up we will have the same problem we had last January and I sure don't want or need it. Oh well guess I will just have to stay in the house and watch the stuff fall

The trick in this cold weather is to relax and hang out near the wood stove %~)

Bellyacre, it's not global warming anymore. Now it's climate change so all their jobs are safe which ever way the weather goes. David.

Must be coming from somewhere else- it"s too cold to snow here- much less rain! Close to 20 below this weekend- warmed up to 9 above yesterday evening. Today was even nicer- almost no wind.

I'm a little concerned those global warming people are going to be drawing unemployment if this keeps up

We had 21 degrees below zero last night with 30-40 MPH winds. I don't even want to calculate the wind chill factor on that one.

Luckily, I planned ahead and put out enough hay for the beef cows to last until the end of the week, so I won't have to try and start any tractors.

Hey Old! Trade you a little of this cold stuff for some of that wet stuff----just a little though. It's very dry up here and the little snow we got did not have much moisture.

No kidding. I woke up to a thunderstorm with freezing rain, hail, sleet and maybe even some snow. I think it's all headed east towards you Old!

Yep went to bed last night instead of this morning like I do most nights. Got in bed around 11:45 last night. Saturday it was in the 50s yesterday around 35 and today its around 20. If you look out side it looks like it has snowed but its not snow its sleet. At least I don't have ice all over the tree limbs or power lines in my area but south west of me they have about a 1/2 inch on every thing

Rich, I'm not upset about not being able to go out there one bit! One glance out the window just makes me want to snuggle under the blanket a little farther and that's where I'm headed right now. Jim

-25 this morning and windy and to top it off one of my old cows decides to drop a brand new calf in the middle of the night. He'll probably have short ears but seems to be doing good otherwise, had to keep him in the truck all night to keep him warm. I'd rather have the snow. And yeah I know, keep the bull out of the pen alittle longer, but he has a way of finding those receptive girls, and doesnt care too much about about fences at that point.
