A friend emailed me a whole slew of these. I just shook my head and chuckled. Here"s one of them.

IDIOT SIGHTING: I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don"t think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore."

>From Kingman , KS .

Mmmmmm , you may think that's idiotic, and so did the county council at first, but I got my way and the sign came down. Now, them deer can legally be ticketed for jay-walking which will generate necessary revenue, and a good talking to them by the deputy will help spread the word not to be crossing in front of my barn while I'm on the tractor hauling in wood for the still out back.

The college students duct taping boxes to the roof makes more sense than holding paneling on the roof with your hands. See, there are benefits to a college education!

My went to the Gynecologists office a while back for female problems. They had sign there it read:

"If you are pregnant we will need a urine sample, if you don't have one we will supply it for you."

Darn hard to argue with that now.

i once saw 2 poeple in small station wagon with several sheets of plywood on top. with nothing to hold plywood on. the guys in front seat both had an arm out a window to hold onto plywood. i hope they didn't have far to go or make sudden stop.

I saw someone doing that with paneling.

Unfortunately there was 2 cars in front of me blocking my view.

Fortunately, at speed, the first two sheets flew off and into the ditch.

Unfortunately, before I could even hit the brakes, the 3rd sheet flew straight up and cleared the two cars in front of me.

Fortunately, it cleared me too.

Red Foreman's favorite pet name for his son, was going through my head.

A sheriff deputy I know posted a picture of a couple of college girls moving. They didn't have enough room inside the vehicle so they duct taped boxes on the trunk and roof, running the tape through the open windows and trunk lid several times. Must have used a dozen rolls of tape. Wish I had the picture. Maybe one of them will grow up and run for president.

I didn't see it, but I DID you to have one of those bikes. Triples were in for awhile in the 70s. I had the Kawasaki 2 stroke triple, and also two 4 stroke British triples - A BSA Rocket III 750 and a Triumph 750 (can't remember what it was called).

The Triumph Trident. Those old Kawasaki 750´s were screamers! I´ve seen photos of two of those engines grafted to make a 5 cyl on a bike, and a 3 cyl mounted on a Honda 3 wheeler.

From "69 to "71, the Kawasaki Mach III 500 cc
two stroke tripple was touted as the fastest
stock 1/4 miler available. Then, for an encore,
they came out with the 750 in "72. I had a "71
Mach lll for about 5 years. 382 lbs. dry and real
"squirelly" to ride.

Did anyone notice the European "schuko" outlets? That's 220, boys!

The quantity of beer involved seems to indicate that these are some of my german cousins.

We all know that deer can read. They usually send one or two into town in each Wildlife Management District each year to pick up a copy of the hunting regs, so that they know when to make themselves scarce.

They're a little simple, though, and it doesn't surprise me at all that they'd cross only where there were signs saying they could.
