I need some help, I have been looking at a Kioti 65 horsepower cab tractor . It looks like it would be a nice tractor . Any thoughts or idea's would be appreciated . This is a 4 wheel drive tractor. Thanks Joe Daugherty

They are not a bad tractor to handle. My Mother and her boyfriend bought a 30 horse modle with hydrostatic drive It has 4 wheel drive, a cab, loader, and a six foot, front mounted snowblower. Nice driving tractor. And best warrenty I've heard of. Comes with a four year warrenty. Parts, and labour. I never heard of this make of tractor, until past fall.

KIOTI ? is that the one that comes with a free bag
of rice ? But aren't compact New Holland's "rice
grinders" also?

They're ALL Asian, Goat- Japanese are generally considered the best (Deere, which is a Yanmar, Kubota, and New Holland, which is a Shinabura, or something like that); Korean also pretty good (Kioti, maybe a few others) and then there's the Chinese. They're just not "there" yet, but probably will be in the next few years, after they get enough of our dollars to gear up their manufacturing processes.

A buddy of mine bought a 50 HP model about 2 years ago. It is heavier than the equivalent Kubota. So far he has had no problems whatsoever with it. It appears to be a well made tractor.

Normaly what we find is the kioti is a copy pretty much of the KUBOTA and does not offer that much of a price break. Better dealer support from kubota if you have a good dealer.

S. Korean made, not all that bad of a tractor all things considered. Still sorting out some of their loaders and such. Dealer support is spotty. We"ve had 4 different dealers come and go in this area. Parts availability seems to be OK. Owners seem happy for the most part. Parent company now owns part of Bobcat and Kioti is making the new Bobcat compact tractors. Not QUITE upper tier yet, but not a cheap Chinese junker either. No matter what the name or paint color, just about everything in the compact or small utility tractor world originates in Japan, India, or S Korea nowdays (as long as it ISN"T Chinese) Things ain"t what they used to be.

I rode with a buddy to look at one about the same size . The tractor looked ok but the price was within a few hundred bucks of a New Holland . We figgered a cheaper tractor should carry a cheaper price . The dealer may have needed to pay his electric bill and needed a few extra bucks . The NH dealer he got the price from is`nt known for being the cheapest around .

I think it is a Korean company. Go to Tractorbynet.com and there is a Kioti forum there.

I myself don't know the tractor.. but having 4 wheel drive is a big plus in my books. Make sure that is working ok.

The DK 65 had some teething on the front axle, ie broken gears and the loader curl is pretty weak for the size of machine.
