I didn't stick around to see what these sold for. That auction might be going past dark for I know. Some pretty interesting European version AC and IH tractors mixed in with the US and Canadian versions.

My toes are getting cold just looking at the pictures. Glad I wasn't standing around at the sale.

I'll bet that old 4wd JD with a cab brought a pretty good chunk of change. Looks like either a 4320 or a 4520. Did they have much for newer equipment?.

It's a 4620, 4WD. I've worked at three Deere dealerships and I'd never seen one before. I was brought here from a California farm. There were so many people standing around it when it got sold off, I couldn't hear how much it went for.

Its rare for sure. My guess is it brought somewhere around $20,000.

Great pics. I hope I can start going to auctions again, as I am retiring soon. You guys always have more snow than we do here in S. Michigan. We are thawing out a little.

Was that Allis an ED-40? Almost bought one of those at an auction in Northern PA a long time ago.

Nope. ED40s were sold here and had four-cylinder Standard diesel engines - I had two of them. Same engine was used in a Massey Ferguson and also some British taxi cabs. The Allis Chalmers in the photos in something I've never seen before.

I appreciate you taking the time to share the pictures and auction results. Sounds like you did OK on the backhoe.Anything else follow you home? A fellow I know bought a larger MF dozer (size of 1150 Case) at that sale a few years ago . I've been to the tractor show in Sharon Springs once or rwice but never to MacFaddens auction yet. He has an interesting sale in Duanesberg next month.

What's the first tractor?

It is laid out like a Field Marshall but the sheet metal and flywheel are different. It looks too small to be Lanz.

Was it running? What did it go for?

The first tractor is a french built tractor. The initials of the company are SFV and the full name is (I aplogise I can't recall the proper french spelling etc.) Society Francais Vierzon. Yes, very similar to a Field Marshall in all the basics. tractorsam
