The pump is on a Minneapolis Moline industrial tractor. Does anyone know if parts are still available or a source for parts for Vickers hydraulic pumps?

Thanks!
Kelvin

The model number is on a flat ground area, usually
on the rear cover of the pump. It"s very long, because it tells model #, flow, pressure, in a code.If you can find it,(it might be painted over)
e-mail me, and i"ll send you a parts print. I have a master parts book. most parts available,
but repair-ability depend on condition of pump.

Found these guys the other day while looking for parts for a friends backhoe. I"ve never dealt with them other than calling about the parts I needed. Even so they are a Vickers dealer and can probably get you the parts you need or find a replacement pump.

That is kind of a loaded question. Vickers is still very much in business however they are now part of the Eaton Group. Now you need to have the model number of the pump. Not all Vickers pumps have parts available anymore. I also sent you an e-mail. A friend of mine had a Vickers power steering pump rebuilt for a customer $400. for a different color tractor. You may be better off money wise by replacing with another newer pump with the same GPM and pressure capability if looks are not 100% important. I also sent you an e-mail. I used to have some contact with Am-dymic when we had the Gresen school. They do cylinders and the rest as well or did at that time. J.

Hello T.R.K.
Vickers pumps are used in the trucking industry.
Any truck delear or truck parts supplier will carry repair parts for them. The seals and pump vanes come in a kit,the pressure valve may come as a single part #. Very easy to take apart and repair.
Guido.

There are a few companies in the Detroit area that sell rebuilt hydraulic Vickers pumps. 1. Western/Starr Warren, Mich or Fraser Mich. 2. AM-Dynic fluid power, Chesterfield Twp. Mich. (this place may only sell cylinders) 3. Paragon Technologies. Warren or surrounding area of Macomb county Mich. Good luck.
