Neighbors are all out in the field a goin' just as hard as they can go; looks too darned wet yet to me.

'Sides I gotta combine I gotta totally rebuild before august. :>)

New bearing is on the mainshaft on the left and pulleys are back on.

Now, I gotta tackle that right side. Groan. Maybe I ought to go see if it is any drier out in the field? :>)

Well,

That chain is probably at the bottom of my list today. :>(

I had bought this combine brand spankin' new back in 1979 and then lost it when I went broke.

Found it again some 25 years later as it was waiting to be shipped off to the bone yard for crushing.

Bought it on the spot and am in the process of rebuilding it from the ground up. Poor ol' thing has really been trashed. :>)
