Here's a brand I never heard of. Called a Dur-A-Scamp, it's an electric one-man lift. Looks like the bucket truck arrangement off a truck. Electric and hydraulic.

Just brought it home today.

Built in Emmetsburg, IA, not too far from here. I got a charger with it.

Anybody know anything about these, or know where I might be able to obtain books and/or parts? I'm told the company went out of business long ago.

Technically it's not an antique tractor so it might be a little OT, but if you notice the drive tires are bigger than the steering(so maybe you could call it a tractor) and it's circa 1960s so it's an antique. And it even has power steering! lol

Model number has a 32 in it so I'm guessing 32 feet may be its max lift height. Seems comparable to Dad's bucket truck--that one is a 31-foot truck.

If I were in your situation, simply keep your eyes wide open. As you go about, auctions etc., look over other equipment, you'll probably see matching parts on other stuff, make a mental note of it, usually that kind of equipment is not custom built, just assembeled from common parts from here and there. Probably a 3/4 ton truck rear axle and brakes. etc. etc. etc.
