To windy to turkey hunt
Mushrooms all froze
Too wet and cold to plant anything
Grass knee high in yard, but mower doesn't have floats.
Purple martins going hungry cause too cold for bugs.

Going to the shop to build a fire, may work on tractor a little.

Sure wish Al Gore would give a global warming speach.

Gene

The wife and myself were invited to a brunch today.. They were short handed in the kitchen when we got there..I ended up making the bacon and sausage patties...What are sausage patties without sausage gravy for the "taters"..Well , one thing led to another ..I got the Bisquick out and made biscuits too..We made an afternoon of it....Man , am I popped!! I'm so full , tomorrows breakfast doesn't even sound good...Happy Mothers Day all...

I agree! There is enough hot air in him to warm a lot of area! :-)

wet, windy and ugly here-
took the wife to brunch for mothers' day, now I'm gonna read the paper. If I stay awake through the editorial page, I gonna lay down and take a nap. Last night was Prom, so I stayed up late cleaning handguns while waiting for the girls- I need some shuteye now.

What Gene you don't have one of those fancy hover mowers LOL. Yep know what you mean. We got 2-3/4 inches of rain yesterday here and today its 50 out side wind blowing hard to boot. But you know how misery is in July and Aug. it will be so dry out and hot out that we will want this weather back
