I recently purchased a massey harris pony tractor here in middlefield ct.I would like to know where I could buy rebuilding kits the carb, throttle linkage, rear hydraulic unit, and new hydraulic lines from the resovoir to the rear unit.I would also like to join any massey clubs if there any out there.I am a novice when it comes to tractors but I wanted a massey all my life and now I own one, which I am determined to restore at home in my shed. all replies answered.

I am in the middle of acquiring a 1955 Pacer.
This is my first tractor also. Go to communities.msn.com/locorebob and see the photos
of mine. It's in rough shape. It's been in the weather for 10 years without the cylinder head.
I'm told the Pony and Pacer are same except the mototr. I think Pony has a larger motor.
Anyway, I'm looking for manuals. I wrote a classified want add for manual and some guys told me to call the couple who have a (519) area code and that they have pony manuals. I'll let you know what I find.
Let me know how it goes.
Later,
Bob locorebob@hotmail.com

I own a 52 that my old man bought new. I also have the complete set of books for it, and can get them copied if you need them. Parts may still be available from Kaiser Wilcox in Bergin NY. The carb kit may be a nightmare, but from what I've found, carb problems are usually a matter of soaking it clean in a bucket carb cleaner.

You might ask Kim, the site moderator. She has a MH Pony that according to her she uses to haul feed to her pigs.
