Next generation | I know this website probably has many old timers that still fix and restore tractors they had as a kid or that their dad had. I have always had an interest in restoring tractors growing up on a dairy farm, but never had the courage to do it. Currently, I teach Agriculture to high school students as a profession. This school year I am teaching a tractor restoration course for the first time and have 12 students enrolled in the course. We've been all learning together, but we have successfully restored a 1953 Allis Chalmers WD45. So to the readers of this website I want you to know I am training a new generation of tractor enthusiasts myself included. I am proud of my students for the job that they have done. We will be raffleing off the tractor this spring and the money made will go back into the program to purchase equipment for future restorations. Next year's tractor is a 1947 Farmall H.
