Bob,

Do you know anything about Deere mini excavators? I am interested in the 35, about a 8000 LB machine. Thanks, Mark

Mark: I ran a 35C a couple of weeks ago--great little machine! The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't seem over-powered, or to be more precise, the relief valves kicked in during some pretty light digging. The Zero Tail Swing was also nice--we were putting drainage tile against the wall of a friend's garage, and it was very helpful to be able to plant the tracks against the wall and not have to worry about taking a chunk out of his new siding every time you swung the hoe.

I don't know anything about them Mark. But a good way to find out would be to rent a few different makes as you have work for them and see for your self. If you don't have a lot of work to do right now for one, do what a guy I know does. He put his name in at a rental place and if someone rents one and finds he can't operate it he gets a call to help. That way you can get payed while you find out.
