First of all , use the Roosamaster/Stanadyne number - not the John Deere part #. Timing window for a C pump - that is used on some 440B skidders - is #17180. Timing window for a DB or JDB pump on some 440B skidders is # 13366. As I recall - without looking at any of my Deere books the JD259 is the Roosamaster # 13366.

440B is supposed to have a either a CDC 431, CBC 431, CBC435, DBGFC431, JDB431, or a JDB435 style pump. The Cs are round, and the DB/JDBs are more rectangular.

Thompson Diesel has been selling off their older Roosamaster/Stanadyne new tool inventory cheap.
The timing window is listed at $13 list price - and for sale for $7.10 at the moment - part # 13366. I recently bought a pile of stuff just for spares - including timing windows for the DB/JDB pumps as well as the round C pumps. Also, lots of stuff for the newer DB2 pumps as used on GM 6.2/6.5s and Ford-IH 6.9/7.3s.
