Home-made Sandblaster...Sort of!!!

Hey, How about this.! Take a fiftyfive gallon plastic barrel, put it in a cement mixer. Fill it with clean sand. Dump a small quantity of parts needing sandblasting into the barrel. Close it up and turn it on. The sand would clean them up nice. How does it sound? I am sorry if I have too many ideas. I have Spring Fever and my brain is working too much without my hands these days. Winters are long in Minnesota. I am still thinking about the plastic gas tank idea. I described earlier.
