Ira, It take 6 us gallons of gear oil for your H,anything from 80-90sae will do.The plug Haas mentioned at the lower left side of the torque tube should have oil up to it when you have filled it. The oil goes in on the top deck, there's a plug right beside the steering wheel support pipe on the top of the transmission , almost directly under the ignition panel box. I built a wrench out of a piece of square stock that fits into the square opening in the plug and I keep it handy to make sure the plug is in tight enough. You might consider price of gear oil, sometimes you can buy it in 5 gallon pails at Walmart or TSC a lot cheaper that at the tractor dealers. Good luck from Mike Soldan in Exeter Ontario.
